Studio4 was founded in 1996 in Genoa by architects Basso, Daniele, Lotti, Rizzo, who in previous years had shared training and various professional experiences. 
Since 2014 Studio4 is directed by the founders Federico Basso, Aldo Daniele and Alessandro Rizzo. 
In 2016 the architect Luca Daniele has been associated in Studio 4.
From 1993 to 2000 the components of Studio4 formed the project team of Aldo Luigi Rizzo architectural office in Genoa for the design of the new Faculty of Economics, in the dockland area of Genoa, and the new Ferry Terminal in the Port of Genoa in Calata Chiappella. 
Studio4 has, from the beginning, established close relations with important international studies, in particular with DCA - David Chipperfield Architects for the competition of Ponte Parodi in Genoa, for the construction of the store Dolce and Gabbana and for the villas of the same stylists in Portofino. 
The company is often engaged with the rehabilitation of coastal, portual and abandoned areas. 
The most important projects to remember: 
- Park24 Public Square and Cycle lane in Arma 
- Redevelopment of the “Parco del Ponente” in Genoa Prà 
- SIT: Integrated System of Genoa Ferry Terminal, 
-Wooden promenade in Voltri - Genoa” (with Architettiriuniti and arch. Zero)
-Wooden promenade of the lighthouse of Genoa,” with the arch. A. Marenco and Architettiriuniti (finalist for the “Gold Medal for architecture ‘as First Work at the Milan Triennale)
-New by-pass between the multipurpose area and the port road network in Vado Ligure (Sv).
Large-scale projects, drawn up in recent years by Studio4, 
are of particular interest:
Technological Pole District and Paddocks of F1 Motorcity Circuit of Veneto;
First and second generation of Bio-ethanol plants in Rivalta Scrivia (Al) and in Crescentino (Vc);
Currently Studio4 is engaged in the Executive and Shop Drawing Project of many Hotels in different African countries.
Studio4 also is engaged in the design and the construction supervision of several apartments and private villas.
